Ann de la Roche has served at the United Nations since 1993, both at the New York Headquarters, as well as in field Offices in Kenya, Cambodia, Rwanda and Myanmar. Currently she is Officer-in-Charge and Chief of Operations of the United Nations Office for Partnerships (UNOP), which serves as a gateway for corporate and philanthropic partnership opportunities with the UN family. Before joining UNOP, Ms. de la Roche held a number of managerial positions within the UN system, including the Department of Political Affairs, Department of Peacekeeping Operations, High Commissioner for Human Rights and the High Commissioner for Refugees. Her areas of expertise include finance and budget, strategic planning, project management, human resources, ICT and innovation. Prior to joining the UN system, she worked in the financial services sector, both in London and Stockholm.
Ms. de la Roche, a Swedish national, holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Lund in Sweden. She is married and has one son.
