John Mascari is the Co-Founder of Blueland, a brand reimagining conventional personal care and household cleaning products to eliminate the need for wasteful single-use plastic packaging. Prior to launching Blueland, John founded Bundle with Whitney Port which offered non-GMO snacks and beverages to expectant mothers. Following Bundle’s acquisition, John was able to reconnect with Sarah Paiji Yoo, a former Harvard classmate, to launch a brand that would offer every household an affordable way to eliminate single-use plastic.

As an avid athlete with childhood memories of enjoying nature with his father, John’s natural environmentalism was the perfect alliance with Sarah’s vision to launch a branch catered towards sustainability. Blueland recently won the Harvard Business School Alumni New Venture Competition and Crowd Favorite in 2019 with features in Forbes, Fast Company, VOGUE, TechCrunch, Well + Good, Cheddar, Mic. And more. Blueland is consistently hailed for its innovation, Cradle to Cradle Platinum certification for packaging and formulation.

Prior to founding Blueland and Bundle Organics, John worked in Mergers & Acquisitions as an Analyst with Lehman Brothers then later Barclays Capital. John graduated from Columbia University and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. In his spare time, he visits Colorado for sporting activities and enjoys mentoring youth groups for business and entrepreneurship.
